Walking closely with Jesus is an attitude of the heart, not just an outward action. Jesus is the source of all wisdom. He is wisdom in His very nature. Are you sold out to Jesus, His Will and His Way? You can’t walk in wisdom without following Him.

Objective: To look at men who walk with God and ended with wisdom. One of the places that wisdom can be learnt is in the presence of God and from those who walk with God.  Enoch, David, Daniel, Joseph, Moses, Jesus, etc. were all men of wisdom. There is connectivity between stardom and wisdom. Kingdom stars are wise men.

From the very beginning, God had a relationship with Adam and Eve that found them “walking in the garden in the cool of the day” (Genesis 3:8). God created man for the enjoyment of a walking relationship that involved companionship, dialogue, intimacy, joint decision-making, mutual delight, and shared dominion. God longs to walk with you, which is why his arms of grace have been pulling you into a closer walk with him.

Enoch was the first man in the Bible who walked with God:
After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him (Genesis 5:22–24).

When the zeal of God captures you, it will ignite you with a great passion to walk with God and to be his friend.  As you draw close to God, he will not likely take you up to heaven as he did Enoch. However, he does desire to reveal the beauty of his face to you. As we walk with him, he will open the Scriptures to us through the Spirit of wisdom and revelation and reveal to us the light of the glory of God that is to be found in him.

When we walk with God, we enter the dimension where God unfolds the secrets of his kingdom. These are the paths that the ancients trod before us. Noah knew the secret of walking with God (Genesis 6:9), as did Abraham (Genesis 24:40). Through Christ, you can explore the glorious riches of knowing God like they did—and to even a greater degree because of the Spirit which has been given to us!

God wants to walk with us before he works through us. So he will wait to act until he finds the right man or woman through whom he can work. To put it bluntly, God works with his friends. When God has a friend, divine activity accelerates. When God has a useful vessel that has been prepared for noble purposes, he will use that vessel. God will use the one who walks with him. But he’s looking especially for three crucial qualities: humility, faithfulness, and loyalty. He wants to work with friends who are loyal to him, no matter what. Even when circumstances would suggest God is unjust, his true friends continue to walk with him. So the Lord will test our fidelity. When we prove ourselves his friends through the greatest calamities of life, we qualify as useful vessels.

Jesus is the quintessential example of a man who walked with God, he walked so closely with God that he was always in the Spirit. The secret place is where we develop a walking relationship with God. We must develop a secret history with God before he gives us a public history before people. Hidden in the secret place, we learn what he’s looking for in friends, and we find out what pleases him. Our inner chamber with him becomes our training ground for a life that is rooted and grounded in love.

One of those stars we shall be learning from is Joseph.
Wisdom From The Life of Joseph….Gen 41:38-40. Joseph was the wisest in his generation. Question then is: What are the wisdom keys to learn from?

1.  Always take a stand against evil; even if you have to stand alone. Gen. 37:2. Never follow the multitude to do evil. Ex. 23: 2. Until you stand for something, you will fall for anything in life or die for nothing. There are two categories of people on earth: 1. People of Conviction and 2. People of concession. People of Conviction know what they want in life and how to please God in their life. People of concession follow the multitude. People of Conviction are consequential and people of concession are inconsequential people. People of conviction are controversial people. It is better to be controversial than inconsequential. It is better you are misunderstood than die under the stood. People that follow the crowd get lost in the crowd. People that take a stand, stand out in the crowd. Your assignment in life is not to see how many people you can please in life. There are those who almost die in a bid to make others happy. Your assignment in life is how much you can please your maker and how much you can be at peace with your action. Never respect anybody enough to please them at the expense of your God. Always take a stand against evil.

2.  Endeavor to always secure parental goodwill and blessings. This is most important spiritually. Jacob was not just a biological father to Joseph; but also a spiritual cover for him. Gen. 37: 3. Never take the blessings of your spiritual parents for granted. The sweetness of your journey in life is determined by who is with you on the journey. The unction behind your life is determined by the action of your life. The mantle on your life determines the mountains you can level. Some people believe in their ability; but when God called Moses to lead the Israelites, there were many Prophets in Israel. It is not only ability that determines destiny… but ability plus connectivity = productivity. It is also possible for you to be talented and be resisted, frustrated and registered with struggle. You cannot be connected to a higher mantle and be resisted by lower demons. It’s not the size of a car that determines the speed of a car, but the engine capacity. Under a spiritual cover you look like a speed boat… among other differences, between Joseph and his brothers, Joseph had the backing of his father. Mathew 3: 13-15. Spiritual fathers are spiritual ladders. They make you to see farther, never play with your spiritual cover. Don’t let any man play down on your spiritual cover. Any attempt to bite the finger that feeds you will only make you to die of hunger. Value spiritual parentage and spiritual cover. There are people who are positioned as evil broadcasters. Never judge any servant of God. Leave the master to judge the servant. It is not in your place to judge the servant. The God we serve is a two edged sword. The unction that can electrify can as well electrocute. Any man that pronounces blessings on your life, don’t allow your mouth to bring evil upon your life. God is not a respecter of person.

3.  Always see the future before it arrives. Joseph saw the future and also dreamt about it. He dreamt 13 years ahead of his age at 17. Any place you think God will take you to let it fill your mind. When life is left to chance, chances are that you will fail, such life has no chance. The future you don’t see does not come; when your life is blank your future is bleak. Possess a loaded heart. What you loaded in your heart is determined by what you upload into your destiny. Prov. 4: 23. Things must first cross your mind before it crosses your life. Don’t wait until things happen, rather make them happen. Live ready! When opportunities encounter preparations, productivity and success are inevitable. Live your life ready don’t live your life to chance. My last submission is: What must occur for you must occur to you.
